First Communion Class

First Communion classes were held Wednesday, October 21 through November 25. This class is for all students 5th grade and up who have not already completed the class.  If you or your child would like information on the next class, please contact Pastor Steve.

Confirmation Class

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Pr 22:6 NIV

Confirmation class begins this fall and is a home based, one-on-one confirmation format. Please contact Pastor Steve for more information on Confirmation class.

The purpose of confirmation is to prepare young people to make the good confession of faith that was made on their behalf at their baptism. As such, this is a very important time in the life of the 7th and 8th graders of our church.

Confirmation involves not only the young people and their parents but also all of the members of Messiah. As members, you are invited to inquire as to material and schedule as well as attend class sessions. Additionally, you are encouraged to pray for the young people and encourage them in growth in faith.

"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them." Deuteronomy 4:9 NIV
