Pastor's Page

Rev. Stephen D. Grafe was installed as Messiah's Pastor on June 29, 2008. He graduated from Ft. Wayne’s Concordia Theological Seminary in 2003. Pastor Steve was an Associate Pastor at Cross of Christ, Bloomfield Hills, MI before accepting our call. As a second career Pastor, he previously worked for Chrysler as an employee in both California and Michigan.  But, most of all, he has served God.  “I think God is the most tender and loving creator to allow His Son to die in our place, and then to trust us with such an incredible message of hope, peace, and restoration,” he says. His sees his role at Messiah as one that enables the congregation to fulfill the church’s mission to "Seek the Lost, Grow the Found." He also occasionally sings a tenor solo and directs a choir.  When he’s away from the church, you’ll find him in the kitchen or on the golf course.  He is married to Sarah and has two daughters and a son.
