Senior Youth

Senior Youth Counselors: Jacob and Amanda Dixon

The Board of Christian Education is happy to announce that Messiah’s newest husband/wife team has volunteered to lead our Senior Youth.

Jacob and Amanda Dixon are excited about the opportunity to work with our young adults. Having both participated in many youth events themselves they are very aware of the importance of a strong Senior Youth program.

They bring a youthful energy and a desire to strengthen the faith of these teenagers. It is a daunting task, especially for newlyweds but with God’s help and the support of the congregation they will be successful.

The couple will lead the group in Bible study on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School time, 9:45-10:30 a.m. They have many ideas of how to “activate” the youth in both service and social events.

They will have their new room to study and play in. Lock-ins, movie nights, Wii challenges, card parties. The choices are endless and the room is perfect!

We pray God blesses this ministry many times over!
