Servant Events

Messiah sponsored a "Men's Work Retreat" at Youth Haven Ranch in September 2009 to continue helping to improve the ranch's facilities.

Messiah sponsored "Forts and Sorts" at Youth Haven Ranch. This year marked the servant event's 10th year! It was one of the servant events scheduled by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for Summer 2009. Servants were involved in construction, painting, and general maintenance of camp grounds. They also interacted with campers who are underprivileged children aged 6 – 12. Thirty-three youth and 12 adults from five congregations in four states put in about 1,700 "man" hours during the week! The event was a blessing for both the participants and Youth Haven Ranch. Thank you to all who participated and to those who made this event happen!
