What is Forts and Sorts?
- A LCMS Youth Ministry servant event hosted by Messiah Lutheran Church, Holt, Michigan
- A way for you to help Youth Haven Ranch with construction, painting and general maintenance of their grounds
Who Can Attend Forts and Sorts?
- Youth - 14-18 years of age
- Adults - 21 years of age or older to be considered chaperones - we recommend one adult leader per six youth
How Much Does Forts and Sorts Cost?
- $200 per person
- A Deposit of $50.00 per person is required with registration
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual
- We will take registrations until May 1, 2024 or until event is at capacity
What's Included with the Registration Fee?
- All meals from June 16 (dinner) to June 22 (lunch) as well as snacks
- Lodging - hotel-style 2-3 per room with private bathroom and shower
- T-shirt for every participant
- All activity fees are included (activities may include Bowling, Camp fire, Worship and Dinner at Messiah Lutheran Church/Youth Haven Ranch, Swimming, Ice Cream Party, Bible Study and Devotions)
What Is Not Included?
- Travel expenses to and from event
- Souvenirs and extra snacks at off-site activities
